What does strength mean to you?
My brother's death will never be in vain. Dear Brother, you inspired me to keep your story and journey alive, as well as preserve your memory. Death spares no one, regardless of age,and Some deaths may seem inevitable with warnings sometimes staring us in the face and we ignore them due to different reasons. Tragically, he got ill in America, which laid dormant for nine years or more without anyone's knowledge except God. His life took a drastic turn, and he struggled with depression, often appearing fine on the surface while dying silently. Many men lose their lives to minor, curable health issues because they postpone seeking help. Societal expectations condition men to "man up" and suppress vulnerability. This can lead to homelessness, substance abuse, feelings of disrespect, exclusion, or mental health struggles, ultimately contributing to domestic violence. My brother hid his pain, fooling everyone, and had no one to turn to for support. That's why I'm driven to form a charity organization, Comodidad, aimed at saving men's lives. Many avoid seeking for help due to societal shame, brokenness and labeling. These labels can exacerbate the issue. Brokenness shouldn't be an excuse for neglecting men's health. Let's work together to save more lives.Your memories lives on in our hearts❤️❤️❤️ My dear brothers Matthew and Emmanuel.
